Mulberry Falls
Camp Robert Lewis
Harris County
Columbus, GA
GPS Location:
PRIVATE
Waterfall Height:
25 feet
An incredible geological anomaly, Mulberry Falls is among the most magnificent and powerful waterfalls in Central Georgia, perhaps second only to High Falls. This Fall Line waterfall is located on Mulberry Creek, northwest of Columbus, about a mile before the Chattahoochee River confluence. More like a river than a creek, Mulberry Creek stretches 400 feet wide at the waterfall, tumbling down a 25-foot vertical cliff and into a giant pool.
Mulberry Falls lies on the property of Camp Robert Lewis, a scout camp operated by the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia. The Girl Scouts use it for teaching environmental education and Leave No Trace camping philosophy. The property is off limits to the public, except through group rental opportunities offered on a reservation basis by the Girl Scouts.
