Nancy Womack Falls

Big Canoe Community

Pickens County
Dawsonville, GA

GPS Location:

34.48061, -84.32416

Waterfall Height:

30 feet

A multi-tier sliding-type waterfall of about 30 feet, Nancy Womack Falls is the third in a series of four waterfalls located along Disharoon Creek, on the grounds of the Big Canoe private residential community. It's located much higher in the watershed than the first two waterfalls, meaning the flow can get skimpy unless seen in wet weather. The falls can be accessed via the Nancy Womack Trail. All trails at Big Canoe are open only to residents and guests, being off limits to the general public.

To learn about more waterfalls in the Jasper area, see chapter 3 in Mark Ozboyd's "Waterfalls of Georgia" guidebook.
