Panola Shoals is the upper of two broad, riverwide shoal-style waterfalls found along the Yellow River in Stonecrest. About 15 feet high, this sliding waterfall is found just below the Hwy 155 bridge across the river. A colossal sandy beach lies adjacent to the falls. Seeing Panola Shoals requires little to no walking from the South River PATH Trail parking area by the intersection of Panola Road and Hwy 155.
