Georgia's Trusted Local Source for Waterfall Explorations Since 2018

Pine Gap Branch Falls

Chattahoochee National Forest

Rabun County
Dillard, GA

GPS Location:

34.94930, -83.35032

Waterfall Height:

20 feet

An unnamed tributary flowing into Darnell Creek from Pine Gap to the south is home to this mediocre 20-foot waterfall, known as Pine Gap Branch Falls. The waterfall can be glimpsed along the Darnell Creek Loop Trail, which parallels this stream. However, the trail doesn't lead directly to the base of this waterfall, which is pretty cluttered with debris. It can make for an okay side trip along the hike to Ramey Creek Falls.
