Fannin County
Blue Ridge, GA

GPS Location:

Waterfall Height:

30 feet

Porter Falls is a scenic 30-foot waterfall near Cashes Valley Road, located west of Blue Ridge. It lies on a tributary of Fightingtown Creek and is especially nice in wet weather. Although Porter Falls is not found in any local tourist brochures, it's clearly an often-visited waterfall with an established (unmarked) trail. The trailhead is before the rough part of Cashes Valley Road, and the hike from the road is a steep 0.1 mile. The path ends at a side view of the falls tumbling over a vertical cliff.
