Warwoman Wildlife Management Area

Rabun County
Clayton, GA

GPS Location:

Waterfall Height:

15 feet

Pounding Mill Creek Falls is a scenic 15-foot waterfall hidden in a rhododendron thicket along the upper reaches of Pounding Mill Creek, east of Rabun Bald. The waterfall lies near Hale Ridge Road (FR 7) and can be heard from the road. However, reaching the bottom of the falls require a short scramble through pretty thick vegetation. Pounding Mill Creek Falls has very picturesque form, but viewing room at the base is somewhat limited.
