Ragsdale Mill is located north of Homer, near Mount Olivet Road along Ragsdale Creek. A historic Civil War-era mill, it no longer operates today but remains in good condition. Next to the mill is a 20-foot sliding-type waterfall known as Ragsdale Mill Falls. Being privately owned, the mill is not open to the public. However, the property is used as a venue for weddings and other private social gatherings, and the waterfall can sometimes be seen on a permission-only basis.
