Rainy Mountain Falls is a multi-tiered, 35-foot waterfall on a northern tributary of Lick Log Creek near Rainy Mountain. An old logging road trail heads westward into the upper Lick Log Creek valley from Pool Creek Road, starting just north of the FR 9 junction. This old roadbed crosses the tributary with Rainy Mountain Falls about 0.15 mile below the falls. There are other overgrown roadbeds leading above the falls, but reaching the bottom requires a bushwhack.
