Raven Cliff Falls is among the most stunning and unique waterfalls in Georgia. The 115-foot waterfall drops in two tiers through a narrow slot canyon on Dodd Creek, which forms a deep crevice between giant sandstone cliffs. The slender free-fall culminates in a small, dark pool sitting in perpetual shade. The surrounding cliffs are the namesake for the Raven Cliffs Wilderness. The hike to Raven Cliff Falls is widely considered to be among Georgia's top five must-do waterfall hikes. Reaching the waterfall entails a moderate 2.5-mile hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail from a spacious parking lot located just off the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway (GA 348).

As of 2025, a wooden footbridge across Dodd Creek is out at 0.2 mile from the trailhead. There are no current plans to replace the footbridge. Continuing along the trail requires an ankle-deep ford of the creek.
