Located just north of Augusta, Reed Creek Falls is an 8-foot cascading waterfall found along the lower reaches of Reed Creek about 200 feet from its confluence with the Savannah River. This is more of a cascade than a true waterfall, but it's noteworthy for its location in a region of Georgia with very few waterfalls. Reed Creek Falls is located in the Savannah Rapids Park. The falls can be viewed from a paved bike trail paralleling the creek, accessed with a short and easy walk down the hill from the parking lot by the Bicycle Peddler shop.
