Reed's Pool Falls lies in a tight rock gorge along Rock Creek in the Peeples Lake area. The waterfall tumbles about 20 feet down a series of rushing drops that opens up into a large pool, the "Reed's Pool" giving the waterfall its name. Reed's Pool Falls is named after the Reed family, which has owned the land it sits on for generations. The waterfall was once a popular swimming hole for local folks. Today, it's strictly off limits to the public, the access road gated and posted with private property signs.
