Roger Laurel Falls

Rich Mountain Wilderness

Gilmer County
Blue Ridge, GA

GPS Location:

34.73891, -84.31908

Waterfall Height:

25 feet

Roger Laurel Branch features a steep cascading run of small waterfalls as it rushes down the slopes of Little Bald Mountain to join Big Creek. The largest drop is a picturesque 25-footer. To reach it, take a faint path southward from FR 338 (Rich Mountain Road) at a sharp curve just west of the road's crossing of Roger Laurel Branch. The path eventually dissipates and you'll need to make a tough bushwhack downhill to the falls. Note that the road is open to vehicles only during spring and fall hunting seasons.
