Almost a cascade more than a waterfall, 12-foot Rothwell Creek Falls is a scenic little drop with a nice pool. Rothwell Creek drains into the Tugaloo River near Yonah Dam. An old logging road loosely follows the north side of Rothwell Creek from Yonah Dam Road for about 0.6 mile to the waterfall. However, there are plenty of fallen trees and this is pretty much a bushwhack. Another small cascade, pictured below, lies just past the first drop.
