Located in Chattahoochee Hills a few miles southwest of Cochran Mill Park, Serenbe is a private residential community whose walkable design was inspired by the principles of New Urbanism. About 70% of Serenbe's land is conserved from development. Inside the community, just west of the Mado hamlet, a tributary of Cedar Creek forms this noteworthy 15-foot waterfall known as Serenbe Falls, tumbling over a scenic cliff. A small sandy beach is found at the base of the falls. Serenbe Falls is surprisingly picturesque for its location and rivals the beauty of the waterfalls at nearby Cochran Mill Park. The waterfall is reached with an easy 0.5-mile hike along a flat trail. Unfortunately, the Serenbe trail system is open only to residents and guests. An overnight stay at The Inn at Serenbe is one way to gain permission to see the falls.
