A major tributary in the Chestatee River valley, Shoal Creek is home to a picturesque, stairstepping 30-foot waterfall on private property. Shoal Creek Falls lies one-half mile above a confluence with Tesnatee Creek. A nearby road is named "Waterfall Drive" because of the waterfall, but no public access exists, and numerous houses stand nearby.
