Surrounded by large cliffs, Stone Cove Falls is a seasonal 40-foot waterfall located on a tributary of Town Creek draining the eastern slopes of Cowrock Mountain. It can be accessed via a steep hike down the Logan Turnpike Trail into the Town Creek valley from Tesnatee Gap along GA Hwy 348, followed by a 0.15-mile off-trail bushwhack up the side cove. Access into the area from Kellum Valley Road is no longer feasible due to private property issues and a new gate.
