Located just south of Mableton, Sweetwater Creek State Park protects a beautiful section of Sweetwater Creek with powerful whitewater rapids. Although no significant waterfalls exist here, the rapids are worth seeing and the area is surprisingly rugged. These rapids have been identified as Sweetwater Falls in park literature. 

Sweetwater Falls lies along the park's Red Trail, about 1.5 miles from the visitor center and half a mile past the ruins of the New Manchester Mill.
