Sylvan Falls is a scenic 40-foot sliding waterfall found just below Sylvan Lake in Mountain City. The waterfall is located in the backyard of Sylvan Falls Mill Bed & Breakfast. This unique inn was formerly a working grist mill, built in 1840. The water wheel remains preserved today. A good roadside view of Sylvan Falls is available from Taylors Chapel Road.
