Talona Falls is the second waterfall located in a short gorge along Talona Creek below Teague Lake. The larger of the two falls, this 25-foot stairstepping drop tumbles into a scenic pool surrounded by small bluffs. Additional cascades and small waterfalls are found upstream along Talona Creek, but scrambling above Talona Falls is not recommended. Both waterfalls are located on private land owned by a marble mining company. However, the 0.2-mile pathway from Talona Road to the falls evidently sees a lot of local foot traffic. The property was not posted with any signs as of December 2023. Thus, public access appears to be tolerated for now, but this page will be updated if the situation changes. Please remember to leave no trace and leave the waterfall better than you found it.
