80 feet

Tempesta Falls is the second of five waterfalls lying in North Georgia's Tallulah Gorge, famously known as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. At 80 feet high, this is among the most spectacular and roaring waterfalls in the gorge, second to only Hurricane Falls. Like with L'eau d'or Falls, there is no public access to the base of Tempesta Falls due to the lack of a trail. Visitors can still see the falls from a birds-eye view at Overlook #7, located along the easy South Rim Trail. Occasionally, the state park does offer special ranger-led hiking events where a limited number of people can sign up to visit the base of Tempesta Falls.
