Tom Branch Falls is a hidden 20-foot waterfall located minutes from Highway 180, just south of Brasstown Bald. The waterfall lies on Tom Branch about 0.2 mile from Salt Gap on the highway. Here, a short dirt road leads to a primitive campsite along Tom Branch above the falls. On the other side of the stream, a faint path then follows an old logging road loosely downstream. You'll need to leave it and scramble downhill to reach the falls.

Tom Branch Falls is a great choice for those seeking a little adventure at a seldom visited waterfall without having to do a long hike.
