Tranquility Falls is the lower of two waterfalls located along a wet-weather tributary stream below Tabor Falls. This stream feeds into the larger unnamed creek that Tabor Falls lies on, which in turn flows into the Middle Fork Broad River over a mile downstream. Although Tranquility Falls sits in a small watershed, this 50-foot waterfall is very picturesque. It stairsteps over a series of mossy ledges with a large overhanging cliff to its side. There is no established path to Tranquility Falls. It is accessed via a low-level bushwhack where you continue downstream from Lower Tabor Falls before trekking a short distance up the tributary on the opposite side of the creek.
