Tribulation Falls

Chattahoochee National Forest

Rabun County
Clayton, GA

GPS Location:

Waterfall Height:

40 feet

Tribulation Falls is a cluttered series of wet-weather waterfalls lying along an unnamed tributary dropping steeply into the Reed Creek gorge. It lies 0.25 mile east of Hicks Creek. The main waterfall drop is about 40 feet, but it isn't particularly scenic due to debris and overgrowth. As the name hints, only hardcore waterfallers will find this one worth the rough, rhododendron-choked bushwhack from Burrells Ford Road (FR 646).
