GPS Location:

Waterfall Height:
100 feet
Located high on the southern slopes of Blood Mountain, 100-foot Twin Cliff Falls is the fifth and uppermost waterfall along Blood Mountain Creek. This unique waterfall lies at the convergence of two forks of Blood Mountain Creek, both tumbling over a massive 100-foot cliff in separate but adjacent waterfalls. The western side of the falls is a vertical free-fall, while the waterfall's eastern side is more of a long slide. Being very high in the watershed, Twin Cliff Falls is best seen in wet weather.
Twin Cliff Falls might also be known as Upper Blood Mountain Creek Falls to some. It can be accessed via a long off-trail bushwhack that includes Yoder Falls and Frogface Falls from the downstream direction, or a short but extremely steep bushwhack down from the Freeman Trail, which crosses the creek upstream from the falls.
