Upper Cedar Creek Falls

Chattahoochee National Forest

Stephens County
Toccoa, GA

GPS Location:

34.62774, -83.34227

Waterfall Height:

25 feet

A long sliding waterfall about 25 feet high, Upper Cedar Creek Falls is the second waterfall on Cedar Creek in Toccoa. It lies in a small canyon and features a nice pool at its base. The waterfall is located about 0.15 mile upstream from the larger Cedar Creek Falls. While a trail from Camp Mikell leads to Cedar Creek Falls, there is no spur trail to this upper falls. Reaching it requires creekwalking or bushwhacking upstream from the stream crossing above the lower falls. See the Cedar Creek Falls listing for more information on access.
