Georgia's Trusted Local Source for Waterfall Explorations Since 2018

Upper Hoods Creek Falls

Warwoman Wildlife Management Area

Rabun County
Clayton, GA

GPS Location:

34.93639, -83.31451

Waterfall Height:

35 feet

Located in a rhododendron thicket along the upper reaches of Hoods Creek, Upper Hoods Creek Falls is a scenic 35-foot waterfall dropping into a small pool. A faint path leads near the falls, heading down a steep ridge from Walnut Fork Road (FR 155). The waterfall lies just over 0.1 mile south of the road. However, the path does not lead directly to the falls, requiring a short bushwhack down to the creek.
