Rabun County
Clayton, GA

GPS Location:

Waterfall Height:

40 feet

A sliding 30-foot waterfall in a rhododendron thicket, Upper Law Ground Falls is the first of three waterfalls found in quick succession along Law Ground Creek, below Highway 28. The waterfall lies only 300 feet downstream from the road; it's located just above Law Ground Falls and Middle Law Ground Falls. Reaching it requires a tough, steep bushwhack from the roadway, including through dense vegetation near the falls.
