Upper Long Branch Falls

Chattahoochee National Forest

Rabun County
Clayton, GA

GPS Location:

34.96086 -83.23042

Waterfall Height:

20 feet

The upper falls on Long Branch lies about 0.25 mile above Long Branch Falls, near John Teague Gap. It's a cascading drop about 20 feet high. The most recent picture I've seen is from 2019, when it was covered by a pile of large fallen trees. It doesn't look like much of a waterfall here. The only reason I list it here is because Upper Long Branch Falls is described in an old waterfall guide by Jim Parham as a good bonus stop when hiking to Three Forks from John Teague Gap. If the debris has been washed off the falls, let me know!
