Upper Mount Airy Creek Falls is the second drop in a pair of waterfalls found in a small gorge along Mount Airy Creek, a few miles west of Suches. About 20 feet high, the sliding-type upper falls lies a couple hundred feet upstream from Mount Airy Creek Falls. The main trail to Mount Airy Creek Falls affords a good downhill view of the upper falls just below. Scrambling to the base is not recommended due to a fresh landslide and steep terrain.
