Upson County
Thomaston, GA

GPS Location:

32.90210, -84.36340

Waterfall Height:

25 feet

GA Hwy 74 crosses a bridge over Potato Creek, a major tributary of the Flint River, west of Thomaston. A gradual sliding-type waterfall about 25 feet high lies below the bridge, though it cannot be seen from the road. Whitewater kayakers sometimes float down the falls, but there is no land access due to private property on both sides. This is the upper of two waterfalls along Potato Creek.
