Walker Branch Falls is a lovely 25-foot waterfall found a hundred feet below the dam of Lawson Lake near Toccoa. Located on Walker Branch, this waterfall likely does not have a fully natural origin, but it's picturesque and has a nice pool. Above the falls, Walker Branch flows through a short, straight channel lined by an old stone wall. It is similar to an open spillway, but the creekbed looks natural.

Just like Pumping Station Lake along Davidson Creek several miles to the east, Lawson Lake was constructed to supply drinking water to Toccoa. It's unclear if the lake still serves this purpose today, as the road to it appears to receive little official maintenance. Walker Branch Falls is reached via an easy 0.6-mile walk down the unpaved extension of Chopped Oak Church Road, which leads right to the Lawson Lake Dam. Although there was no gate as of 2021, the road is very rough and rutted. A faint scramble path descends to the bottom of Walker Branch Falls.
