80 feet
White Diamond Falls is the lower in a pair of significant waterfalls found in the headwaters of Holcomb Creek, a few hundred feet downstream from Hope Diamond Falls. In total, this impressive waterfall is about 80 feet high, though only about half of it can be seen from the base due to the waterfall's changing slant.
The only way to reach White Diamond Falls is via a long, tough bushwhack from Hale Ridge Road (FR 7). You will encounter faint, overgrown paths along old roadbeds, particularly closer to the falls. But regardless, this is a difficult off-trail hike and a navigational challenge. Folks trekking to Hope Diamond Falls will typically pass White Diamond Falls first. A faint, steep scramble path climbs around the south side of White Diamond Falls to its upper tier before continuing to Hope Diamond Falls.
