White Pearl Falls is a picturesque 35-foot waterfall located in the upper reaches of the Right Fork Nottely River watershed along White Oak Stamp Branch. The waterfall lies near the popular Hogpen Gap Overlook along the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway (GA Hwy 348). This gorgeous, lush waterfall setting is a surprise find along such a high-altitude stream. Hikers accessing White Pearl Falls will pass a notable lower falls about 100 feet below the main waterfall.
An old roadbed follows North Fork Nottely River from GA Hwy 348 to near the White Oak Stamp Branch confluence. From there, it's a short bushwhack to the series of waterfalls on White Oak Stamp Branch. A faint path follows the north side of the stream to the base of the lower falls, where it crosses the creek and then scrambles steeply up the south side to the main falls.
