Woodward Mill Falls is the upper of two small waterfalls found along Ivy Creek near Buford's Mall of Georgia. Here, Ivy Creek tumbles over the 10-foot millpond dam for the historic Woodward Mill before sliding down a series of small rock outcrops. The scene is especially beautiful in high flow, when water spills over the dam's entire 80-foot width. An old water wheel stands next to the falls. Although this waterfall is only partly of natural origin, it is worth a visit.

Woodward Mill Falls lies at a short side path from the paved Ivy Creek Greenway, adjacent to an I-85 exit ramp overpass. It can be reached via a 1.0-mile walk from the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center.
