Chicken Creek Falls
Waterfall Info: This is the sole significant waterfall at the head of a small gorge on Chicken Creek, which drops off the southwest slopes of Fort Mountain. It is located just outside of Fort Mountain State Park on the other side of Highway 52.

Access Info: Park in the large paved pullout along the south side of Highway 52 at 34.742865, -84.710663. Starting from the pullout, an old overgrown roadbed descends along a local ridge southeast toward Chicken Creek. In 0.2 mile, reach a split and take the left fork. The roadbed peters out after another 0.15 mile. Just keep steeply descending off-trail along the ridge through mostly open woods until you arrive at Chicken Creek just below the falls.
