Lower Mill Creek Falls (Fifth Falls on Mill Creek)
Waterfall Info: This is the fifth (from the top) waterfall on Mill Creek. The waterfall is much more obscure than the other four waterfalls, because the trail ends around the third and fourth waterfall, and the fifth waterfall is nearly a quarter-mile farther downstream. Due to the distance in between, this waterfall is generally known as Lower Mill Creek Falls.
Landowner: Chattahoochee National Forest (Cohutta Wildlife Management Area)
Height: 30 Feet
Type: Double Slide (Double-Tier)
County: Murray
Access Info: The best way to access this waterfall is simply bushwhack down the steep slope from FS 630 (Mill Creek Road). The waterfall is only one-tenth of a mile from the road, and the bushwhack - while steep - is quite open. There are several small roadside pullouts with space for one to two cars. It may also be possible to access the falls by bushwhacking downstream along Mill Creek from the third and fourth falls, but I have not checked this route and imagine it to be more difficult.
