Hedden Creek Falls (Glade Falls)
Waterfall Info: In the far northeast corner of Georgia, this high, little-known waterfall is the only significant waterfall on Hedden Creek. Although Hedden Creek Falls is the name I've seen used the most commonly, Glade Falls appears to be a legitimate name that has attracted some users too. In addition, an old name I've heard of is Horse Cove Falls.
Landowner: Chattahoochee National Forest
Height: 100 Feet
Type: Steep Slide & Free-Fall (Double-Tier)
County: Rabun
Access Info: From Glade Road (also known as Burrells Ford Road), a slim unmarked path crosses Hedden Creek just above the falls. The path then descends along the north side of the falls to the base, making a series of steep scrambles between cliffs. Hedden Creek Falls lies only 0.1 mile from Glade Road, and it can even be faintly heard from the road. This waterfall is no longer a bushwhack, though the path is still faint and rugged. Glade Road is typically in rough condition with protruding rock formations and large mud holes, requiring a high-clearance 4WD vehicle.
