Little Aimee Falls
Waterfall Info: On the southeast side of Cowrock Mountain are two very small, unnamed streams (not marked on the topo map) that converge before running into Town Creek from the west. Little Aimee Falls is located on the north fork of this stream immediately above the convergence. Best seen in wet weather.
Landowner: Chattahoochee National Forest (Raven Cliffs Wilderness)
Height: 55 Feet
Type: Near-Vertical Slide (Single-Tier)
County: White
Access Info: Follow the Logan Turnpike Trail south steeply down into the Town Creek watershed from the parking area in Tesnatee Gap. Once you successfully locate the stream that Hidden Gem Falls is on, which flows into Town Creek on the side opposite from the trail, simply bushwhack up this stream. The bushwhack is steep at times but the woods are generally open. When you reach the fork in the unnamed stream, stay right along the north fork. It used to be easier to access this area before the Logan Turnpike Trail was blocked off at its south end due to private property issues.
