Mark of the Potter Falls (Soquee Falls)
Waterfall Info: This is a broad, powerful waterfall on the Soquee River, well downstream from the confluence of the Left Fork and Right Fork (and well downstream from Soquee River Falls in the Tray Mountain Wilderness). The waterfall is located directly behind a pottery store known as "Mark of the Potter", and the waterfall used to power the old grist mill here. Although this is private property, the public has always been welcome to stop by the pottery store and view the waterfall. Locals have sometimes referenced to this waterfalls as Soquee Falls or Soquee River Falls (but today, the name Soquee River Falls is typically applied to the giant set of waterfalls on the Left Fork in the Tray Mountain Wilderness). It has also been known as "the waterfall by Mark of the Potter", so I'm adopting Mark of the Potter Falls as the primary name, to distinguish it from other waterfalls in the Soquee River watershed.
