Nottely Falls

Waterfall Info: This is a very tall waterfall on Shanty Branch just below US 129. There used to be an official trail to a poor view from the top of the falls, but it was closed for safety reasons.

Access Info: To see Nottely Falls, park in the Byron Herbert Reece Trail parking area and walk along US 19/129 North for a short distance. Then, turn right and bushwhack down the extremely steep slope off the road to Shanty Branch and follow the creek upstream to the falls. The bushwhack is only for experienced off-trail hikers.
