Ross Field Branch Falls
Waterfall Info: Ross Field Branch features a series of small waterfalls and cascades as it steeply drops off a significant escarpment south of Cook Mountain and Buzzard Rock. Owen Branch Falls is on the same escarpment a little further south, but Ross Field Branch doesn't contain any single waterfall as large or spectacular. The pictures and coordinates here are for the most scenic and biggest drop on Ross Field Branch.

Height: 25 Feet
Type: Sheer Drop (Single-Tier)

Access Info: This falls is accessed via a strenuous bushwhack from Walking Stick Road east of Highway 28. The best place to leave the road is where the road turns abruptly left (north) away from Little Creek. Probably the best way to reach this falls is to wade and scramble up the creek-bed as much as possible. Keep in mind this is only for seasoned off-trail adventurers.
