Six-Foot Falls
Waterfall Info: This small waterfall is a well-known stop for those hiking the Logan Turnpike Trail. Although it is more of a cascade than a waterfall in my opinion, it is noteworthy and acts as a good landmark in relation to the bigger waterfalls in the Town Creek watershed. Greg Ford has nicknamed this drop Six-Foot Falls but I haven't seen an official name. It may also be referenced as Town Creek Falls or Town Creek Cascades.
Landowner: Chattahoochee National Forest (Raven Cliffs Wilderness)
Height: 6 Feet
Type: Sheer Drop (Single-Tier)
County: White
Access Info: Follow the Logan Turnpike Trail south steeply down into the Town Creek watershed from the parking area in Tesnatee Gap. As the valley levels out and the trail travels more closely to the creek, you will eventually reach Six-Foot Falls near the bushwhack access for Stone Cove Falls. It used to be easier to access this area before the Logan Turnpike Trail was blocked off at its south end due to private property issues.
