Spinel Falls

Picture
Waterfall Info: This waterfall is located on an unmapped tributary of Holcomb Creek, flowing from the northwest and joining the creek slightly downstream of White Diamond Falls.
Landowner: Chattahoochee National Forest
Height: 40 Feet
Type: Sheer Drop (Single-Tier)
County: Rabun
Access Info: This waterfall is located near the makeshift semi-bushwhack route to White Diamond Falls and Hope Diamond Falls. However, it requires an extremely difficult bushwhack through dense rhododendron from Holcomb Creek. It may be easier to reach from the Bartram Trail, which lies 0.3 mile away. The bushwhack from this direction is mostly open woods along a ridge, and only becomes dense rhododendron very near the falls.
Waterfall Location: 34.98269, -83.29155
