Tribulation Falls

Picture
Photo of lower drop by Christopher Cockfield
Waterfall Info: This is a series of steep sliding cascades on an unnamed tributary of Reed Creek as it drops into the Reed Creek gorge just east of Hicks Creek. The lower and upper section are separated by a small pool. There is also another cluttered drop a little further upstream (see Upper Tribulation Falls).
Landowner: Chattahoochee National Forest
Height: 40 Feet
Type: Series of Sliding Cascades (Multi-Tier)
County: Rabun
Access Info: Make a steep, overgrown bushwhack from Burrells Ford Road (FS 646). As the name hints, this one isn't really going to be worthwhile for anyone but hardcore adventurers.
Waterfall Location: 34.95984 -83.14307
