Tufa Falls (Lower Waterfall Branch Falls)

Picture
Photo in normal conditions by Bruce Roberts
Waterfall Info: This is the lower very wet-weather waterfall on Waterfall Branch. There's usually very little or no water in Waterfall Branch at this spot, but the falls is still interesting due to the unusual mineral deposits. A similar upper falls lies a short distance upstream at 34.710474, -85.348736. It's best to visit this falls only right away after heavy downpours if your goal is to see any water in it.
