Upper Bad Branch Falls

Picture
Photo of the lower section by Greg Ford
Waterfall Info: This is the upper waterfall on Bad Branch, about 500 feet upstream from the well-known lower falls known as Bad Branch Falls. It consists of several sections that you cannot see all at once. If the deadfall gets washed away, this will be an extremely scenic waterfall!
Landowner: Chattahoochee National Forest
Height: 100 Feet
Type: Series of Steep Slides & Sheer Drops (Multi-Tier)
County: Rabun
Access Info: This waterfall is accessed off an old ATV road that begins at the trailhead for Bad Branch Falls. When the ATV road nears the falls, you will turn off and make a short, tough bushwhack to the falls.
Waterfall Location: 34.76374, -83.51904
