Upper Burnett Creek Falls
Waterfall Info: This is the second significant waterfall on Burnett Creek and is the more imposing of the two.
Landowner: Chattahoochee National Forest (Coopers Creek Wildlife Management Area)
Height: 30 Feet
Type: Slide (Single-Tier)
County: Union
Access Info: Hike to Lower Burnett Creek Falls. Then, continue for approximately 0.1 mile upstream, and use the creek and the banks as needed to find the path of least resistance, potentially requiring wading. Alternatively, you may use the unofficial Burnett Creek Trail, which runs parallel to Burnett Creek on the west side, to directly access the upper falls. From the trail, the bushwhack to the upper falls is easier and less steep than to the lower falls. The creekwalk and trail can be used as a loop route to visit both falls.
