Upper Cedar Creek Falls

Picture
Waterfall Info: This is a second waterfall in the Cedar Creek gorge, a short distance above the main Cedar Creek Falls.
Landowner: Chattahoochee National Forest
Height: 25 Feet
Type: Slide & Sheer Drop (Double-Tier)
County: Stephens
Access Info: This waterfall is accessed by first taking a maintained trail to Cedar Creek Falls that begins at Camp Mikell in the Little Toccoa Creek valley. The only way to hike the trail is to attempt requesting permission from Camp Mikell. From there on, you can do some off-trail exploration to reach elevated views of the upper falls, but reaching the base is extremely difficult and not recommended.
Waterfall Location: 34.62774, -83.34227
