Upper Rhododendron Falls
Waterfall Info: This is the upper of two very scenic waterfalls on a small stream that drains the north side of Chenocetah Mountain. This stream is a west tributary of a slightly larger unnamed stream that enters Lake Russell near its north end. This waterfall is best seen in wet weather, as the watershed is tiny.

Access Info: This falls is accessed by a tricky off-trail hike from the Rhododendron Trail (which begins in the Lake Russell Recreation Area). After arriving at the lower falls, you will need to make a very steep scramble up the slope on the left-hand side of the falls. The upper falls is only around 50 feet above the lower falls. Stay away from the top of the falls!
